.It was late at night, the hallways of the abandoned education center barely lit by the ceiling lights above, with a few occasionally flickering above. Moving further down the abandoned building through the elevator showed a small hallway that led to the rooms of toons, their communal kitchen, and their TV lounge. However, walking straight to the kitchen showed a set of metallic double-doors with a lighter shade of metal door handles and hinges. Opening the double-doors led to another hallway, one that was familiar to most toons. There were only five rooms in the hallway, each door showing off its owners personality with the décor that covered each door. However, only one was boarded up. But other than that, everything else was normal as can be.

The other toon didn’t move to look at Glisten, instead favoring to stare at the tank. His mouth pressed together in a tight down as he fidgeted with his hands. He usually didn’t look so… uneasy.
Glisten then uncrossed his arms and sat down next to Finn, crossing his legs and leaning on his right hand. “So, what’s up?” He asked as unbothered as he could, as if Finn being so uncharacteristic didn’t worry him.
He watched as Finn opened and closed his mouth several times, looking down at his hands, then at the tank, glancing at Glisten. Then, he spoke.
“I miss when things were normal.” Finn’s voice was hoarse, barely above a whisper. Hearing it made Glisten’s heart ache a little. This wasn’t the Finn he was used to. His gaze remained trained on the tank before them.

Summary
Finn is an extrovert at heart, with confidence and bravery at an all-time high.
But when a blackout occurs, all of that courage fades away into a husk of fear, cowering towards any source of light he can get. Finn does not have good experience with blackouts, especially after his own Twisted almost killing him during one. Throughout the terrifying floor, Cosmo reassures him that blackouts aren't to be feared.
The two stick together to make it through the floor alive.(finn x cosmo fic???? actually finished fic????)
