Faking an accent was still easier than faking a whole entire personality, though. Dennis Whitaker was soft spoken, anxious all the time, he made himself look small. Vladimir Dracula, on the other hand? The last time he made himself look small was when he was a twelve year old kid.
OR: Dennis Whitaker is a vampire, and his real name is Vladimir Dracula. He's moved from the UK, became a doctor and now works at PTMC. Everything is just fine, no one suspects a thing. But of course it all goes to shit, because of one small trick and his roommate walking into his room when she shouldn't. Oh, and apparently most of his coworkers are werewolves. Awesome.

He kind of texts his half-siblings, but he's content living in the mortal world as a normal doctor. He's got a roommate, a paycheck, and a situationship with his 54-year-old attending. He's happy to keep all of the godly weirdness tucked in his past.

Summary
Dennis Whitaker is a newly MS2, juggling his classes, part time jobs and being unhoused, while narrowly trying to escape burnout.
One day, he spills his coffee all over another man while trying to get a book from the library. Mortified by the experience he can only find comfort in the fact he will never see this stranger ever again. That is until that man appears in class as a guest lecturer a couple days later.Michael Robinavitch is taking some time off, over the anniversary of his mentor's death. Feeling too cooped up inside his own home he decides to get in touch with some old friends at the University of Pittsburgh. He is invited as a guest lecturer when when he runs into a particular man who catches his attention.
After their encounter at the library, the two men keep running into each other. Seemingly tied by an invisible magnetic force.
Or; After embarrassing himself in front of a hot older man, Dennis keeps running in to him. The med student tries his best to hide the fact that he's homeless, but the closer he gets to Michael Robinavich, the more difficult it becomes to keep up his facade.

The first thing Dennis hears every morning is the sound of the grease trap hissing in the shop below, then feels his four-year-old son wriggling deeper into his ribs, like he wants to crawl back into Dennis’ shriveled old sack of a uterus.
He’s not sure which one wakes him first.
(Or, Whitaker is a struggling single dad, an MS4 who is about to graduate and crushing on two old men).

Everything is fine. Everything is absolutely peachy fucking keen.
When the night shift calls Dennis in a few hours early, he goes without complaint. He knows how miserable a shift can get without enough hands on deck. But lack of sleep slowly starts to catch up with him.
Dennis Whitaker does not faint. That would be embarrassing. He’s on the floor for perfectly reasonable, perfectly respectable reasons. He does not need a banana bag. He does not need the day off.
He just needs a little bit of sleep.
