Rody nodded, focusing more than he needed to on the bag in his hands to avoid looking at Deku, and the way he was flinching with each inhale that expanded his ribs. Finding it, he set the bag aside and the box of bandages on the ground.
“Thanks, Rody.” Deku reached for it, but winced and gritted his teeth as soon as he stretched his arm forward.
“No, don't–” Rody waved him back until he leaned against the boulder again. “I’ll take care of it."
