Astarion moves his legs just slightly to press against Casmir’s broad shoulder, a teasing point of contact. The tiefling doesn’t shift away.
But his hands still haven’t moved to tend to Astarion’s wound. “Can I touch you?”
Astarion stares at them for a few moments, meeting that burning gaze, fanned by thick lashes. People don’t often ask him that—they just do. It didn’t matter whether he wanted them to or not, only that he was a pretty thing they wanted to get their hands on.
He shakes his head before he can fade away into bad memories, blinking several times. He smirks instead, slipping into flirtation easily, eyes lidded and something like revulsion at himself bubbling in his gut, “As much as you’d like, my dear.”
(Or, Astarion has had his consent revoked for over two centuries. Then he meets Casmir.)

Tav’s other hand presses into the small of his back, arching Astarion into him, making him whine at the feeling of the cock shifting inside him, until Astarion’s chest is flush against Tav’s.

But tying Julian to a bedpost and fake-torturing him turns out to be an accidental turn-on for both of them. Julian doesn’t want to break character, so allows Garak to escalate his erotic domination towards the point of no return – yet Garak won’t go any further with their roleplay without clear consent. The way home is fraught with unforeseen events and Mycroft soon finds himself in his own frightening tale of horror.

I wrote this for the Mystrade Advent Calendar that I just learned, through the @mystrade-advent-calendar tumblr, that due to lack of submissions isn't on this year. RATS!
However, as I wrote it already, here it is for your reading pleasure.
The rules: Mystrade at Christmas, a standalone story that's brand new and no more than 5,000 words. This baby is EXACTLY 5,000.
A big thank you and shoutout to the Mystrade-Advent-Calendar people. This is the first prompt and/or challenge I've taken on and I enjoyed it thoroughly. I only regret that it isn't "official."

Summary
In order to keep his brother and those close to him safe, Mycroft did what was necessary while he was away. When Sherlock returned, Mycroft paid the price for those actions. Years later, with a little help from friends and family, and even if the global political situation doesn't help, maybe this Christmas will be different.
I started to write this last Christmas (before TAB) and while I failed spectacularly to finish it, it's been like a magnet drawing me back. Now that it's done, even if it's massively unseasonal, I wanted to share it with you. It's a strange combination of Mycroft-Whump and a little family insight.
