Summary
Person on the tail end of the group. Hair in loose waves. Blonde was almost the right shade. But then again he rarely saw Mel outside of fluorescent lighting. This woman was on the outside of the group. Families and couples. Not many individuals in this batch. He had no intent on gatecrashing the group.
Especially as the tour guide got the year of Patrick Henry’s letter wrong. 1877? What the fuck. 1777. The blonde woman huffed a little at that proclamation. Turning and leaving the group. If he wasn’t a happily married man he’d have fallen in love.
Her eyes didn’t land on him as she walked away from the group. ‘1877? Is she mad or just stupid?’It was Mel.

Summary
“Good morning Mel, how are you today?” says the voice.
After calming her heart, she looks up to see the kindest and most compassionate blue eyes she has ever seen. Eyes that belong to a man who told her that emergency medicine needs sensitive doctors like her. Eyes that sat on a pale face, topped with fluffy dark brown hair, and came with a smile that was mischievous but still always knew what jokes to say at the right time.

While carrying the weight of a troubling home life, trying to let go of being Becca's sole caregiver, and trying to finish her residency, Mel starts to drown. Summary
[College/University AU]
After Mel loses her job at a local coffee shop in the middle of her freshman year of college, her friends suggest she start a tutoring business, given her just shy of perfect grades. She starts with her biology class, where she knows most people are struggling.
The first person to sign up for her services isn’t who she would’ve expected: Frank Langdon, the very handsome but very quiet sophomore who sits behind her in the lecture. She has barely ever spoken to him outside of one random encounter at a party a few weeks earlier.
Mel is in no position to be turning any students away, so she happily agrees to tutor him… But she certainly didn’t agree to fall in love with him.
