Summary
It is perhaps a little too cold out to suggest they go stargazing for their date, but Gina’s always had a fascination with the stars, and alongside her growing fascination with Rafael… well. She’s not a strong woman. To deny herself something so lovely just isn’t on the cards.

Summary
Lucanis' head lolled to the side, eyes just barely open. The bleary expression he wore betrayed nothing of what he was thinking, nor that he even realized where he was. With the way his hair hung down in his face, damp and stringy, he almost looked the way he had when they'd first rescued him from the Ossuary.
That thought stung something deep within her rib cage.

After the fight with Zara Renata, and Illario's open betrayal, Rook needs to make sure none of the blood soaking Lucanis' leathers belongs to him. The one problem—he is unconscious, and she will not trust anyone else to do it.

Summary
“What would Varric say if you did complain?”
Lilya pitched her voice low and put on a poor Kirkwall accent. “’No one wants this job, kid, but you’ve got it. Use what you’ve got: the team, their connections, and your skills. You don’t know when to quit, so keep going.’”
Lucanis allowed himself a quiet chuckle at her weak impression but nodded. “It’s good advice, save one thing.”
“What’s that?”
“If you don’t know when to quit, perhaps you need someone to tell you when it’s alright to stop.”
“But—”
“You’re no good to anyone if you push so hard you break.”
