last finished chapter 12. short summary, after destroy ending Shepard knows/learns that the Cerberus tech within her is degrading and will not last (likely) farther out than several years. has absconded away to a old semi-research facility orbiting Neptune for the guise of (understanding something about the tech within her). Garrus, whom she married prior to game ending and more-or-less abandoned in a sense, shows up unannounced after a little over a year and throws a wrench in her plan of distancing from everyone she knew until she was finished with her self-appointed mission and expecting herself to pass away.
the amount of both pain and delight while reading this i have felt has been immense.
