“Gunwookie,” he says louder, squeezing his waist firmly. “Are you listening to me?”
Still nothing, not even a twitch of his fuzzy ears. Matthew pushes himself up on his elbows, looking down at him properly. He’s still deep in sleep, his breathing steady and slow.
They’ve both known Gunwook’s hibernation could start any time now. He’s done well, in fact, to make it to late November. Last year’s hibernation was nearly a full six months, from October to March. Last year’s hibernation was a lot of things that Matthew would rather not remember.
But he’s not ready for it to start today. All he wants is a few more hours together before his bear side takes over.
Just the chance to say goodbye before Matthew is alone for the winter.

Summary

Each chapter follows a different pair- the people they love, the things they're running from, and how they find their way to each other.
It can be read as one-shots, but the friendship dynamics will make more sense if read all together.

As soon as the question slips past Ricky’s lips, the air in the room changes. Gyuvin’s hands are off him, his eyes furrowed to the center, mouth agape, as if bewildered.
“Fuck buddies?”
His question catches Ricky off guard. Why is he so shocked? He nods in response, which makes the younger man’s eyes wider than it already was. “That’s what we are, right?”
Gyuvin backs up slowly, and Ricky could see him thinking, the gears in his brain turning. Then he looks at him right in the eyes. “Aren’t we dating?”
Ricky’s heart stops. The world stops.
“What?”
“What?”

Summary
After a while, the laughter dies down, and the beautiful stranger gives him a soft smile as he stretches out his hand in front of him. “Jiwoong,” he grins. “Kim Jiwoong’s the name of your boyfriend.” The blond, Jiwoong, adds in with a small laugh, his eyes crinkling at the corners.
“You mean fake boyfriend,” Taerae rolls his eyes dramatically, a fond smile stretching his lips. “And I’m Taerae, Kim Taerae. It’s nice to finally know your name, boyfriend.”
Jiwoong raises one eyebrow at that. “You mean fake boyfriend,” And Taerae just gives him a grin in response. “Right, fake.”
Taerae meets his ex-boyfriend at a party, he pulls a random stranger to be his fake boyfriend, and somehow, one way or another, it becomes the best night of his life.
