Of course he cries, Techno defends against himself. He has every right to cry.
Husband, dead. Son, kidnapped. Home, ransacked. Teamed up with those who in the past have done nothing but betray, blow up his home, and kill him.
Techno silently sheathes his sword and shakes his head when Eret opens his mouth to begin talking. The King listens, nodding slowly and leaving the cramped hidden room behind Sam’s base.
“I’ve got you, now.” Tubbo murmurs into the soft head of pink under his lips. Tears streak his face and become lost in that baby soft hair. “I have you, and no one will ever take you from me again.”

Tommy waits, he kicks his feet back and forth, back and forth, and hums. It’s just too early to sleep, and just late enough that he has to be this high up in preparation for the night fall. His thin, damaged wings ruffle restlessly at his sides. He’s bored and tired, his arms are in a state of perpetual ache after his time in the mines.
Phil hasn’t yet joined him.

Tommy swallows heavy. “You think- you think it’ll ever be like it was before? Simpler?”
Puffy reaches out and rolls the soft petal of a tulip at the center of the table between her fingers. “No. Not simple. But we can try to adapt to make something more… normal. That’s what Tubbo’s doing here.”
Tommy grumbles. “Doesn’t seem simple.” He thinks of the nukes and the mansion, the hyperloop and the marriage.
“It has to get complicated before it can be easy.” She informs him.

Summary
Castiel is dead. Dean knows it, he has seen him be stabbed right in front of his eyes, has felt his grace slowly bleed out, had touched the cold body after.
And now he has to watch him burn, disolve into nothingness in front of his eyes.
There's a heavy weight in his chest and a heavier one in his arms. The first is grief, the second is the baby that Cas choose to die for. (Dean hates Jack for it.) But now, this tiny baby who will one day be the most powerful being in the universe is the only thing he has left of Castiel.
How does one go about it, how does one raise the child that killed the person most important for you?
