Summary
Mark’s barely a fully grown man, and yet his mother waits on bated breath for him to bring home someone. She begs him, poking and prodding to find out if there’s a special someone in his life yet, if she needs to add an extra plate for dinner on Christmas.
All he has to do is hold hands with Jack and fake his way through the cliché questions and he’s home free. The next time his mom asks about Jack, he’ll say they went their separate ways.
Easier said than done.

Summary
“So,” Alex said, so close that John could feel the word being formed, Alex’s mouth drawing out the o. It wasn’t a bad feeling—it was pretty damn nice, actually, soft and warm—so he pressed his face against Alex’s mouth some more. Alex pursed his lips—a feather of a kiss, but one that sung its way down John’s spine.

Violence, slight abuse, swearing included in this story.
I'm really bad at summaries.

Summary
"Ask the secretary out, son. It’s really that simple.”
Alex gapes at the president. He can’t tell if he wants to laugh or scream.
In what world is that simple? After a drunken one night stand, Secretary of Treasury Alexander Hamilton and Secretary of State Thomas Jefferson find themselves wrapped up in America’s latest political scandal. With Hamilton’s reputation as a notorious flirt and the White House desperate to avoid any more bad publicity, President Washington tells them to pretend to date until they can stage a believable breakup. It’s only supposed to be a few weeks.
Of course, with these two, nothing ever goes according to plan.
