Summary
Alastor has always been an opportunist. When a good opportunity falls into his lap like a red apple fell onto Sir Isaac Newton's head, he'll take it and use it to his best benefit. But the thing Alastor finds a little bit pathetic about himself is that, unfortunately, he IS also an Altruist. Besides, sometimes replanting that apple, making it grow and thrive, could bring him more benefits than gorging on it the second he gets it.

Summary
After seven years, Heaven has learned of Lucifer's divorce from Lilith. Knowing of Lucifer's reputation as an 'absent king' and fearing a destabilized Hell, they decide to gift him with a new bride - an angel of their own to distract him and keep an eye on him; a puppet. He is gifted Alastor, Heaven's least favourite angel, to be the sacrificial lamb in the Devil's marriage bed.
Alastor was never sure how he made it past the pearly gates, but he's swallowed down his bitterness to be a gentleman and avoid putting shame on his mother's name in Heaven. Now promised to another against his will, Alastor resolves not to go quietly into marital servitude.

Summary
Alastor is owned by his father and has to perform for him. Vox is one of Alastor‘s best client, but naturally Alastor hates him. Lucifer is forced on a night out with Ozzie because Ozzie doesn’t want Luci to mope the whole time and he sees Alastor perform on stage. Of course Luci immediately is heads over heels for him and books him for himself, becoming Alastor‘s number one client. Even going so far as trying to make an exclusive contract with Alastor’s father, to have him only for himself. Alastor thinks Lucifer is just like the others and tries to quell the rising feelings he gets for the king. Because why should the king of hell fall in love with someone like him. Lucifer meanwhile thinks his feelings for Alastor are clear. Misunderstandings ensue, especially because Lucifer also thought Alastor loves doing his job. But Alastor wishes for nothing more than to finally gain freedom and have this suffering under his fathers hands end.
