Buck felt his mouth drop open in delight. “Eddie,” he admonished. “Are you calling me a whore?”
“No!” said Eddie, looking increasingly flustered. “I just mean—clearly you have the power to do—” he gestured at Buck, “that, so you have the—the responsibility to, like, use it. Responsibly.”
“Did you just quote Spiderman?”
Eddie propped his elbows on the table and dropped his head into his hands, groaning dramatically. “I’m going to die. The first date, and I’m going to die.”

Summary
This takes place straight after the Avengers have defeated the Chitauri. Hulk smashed Loki, who then managed to run away. But soon the avengers find him and also find out about everything he's been through since Thor's coronation. They decide they want to help, but Loki thinks it would be better to stay away.

When the 118 attend a conference in Miami, Buck sees it as a free vacation, and a chance to finally blow off some steam. Eddie is on a mission to convince the team he in fact can be spontaneous, while Bobby is just preying that they don't completely ruin the LAFD's reputation by the end of the trip.
