Summary
The Inquisitor was upset. Not entirely so with what you might think, however. Having just regained his lost memories, walking through the fade itself, stopping Fear and his demon army, losing Hawke, and banishing the Grey Wardens from Orlais, Trevelyan had much to be upset over. But none of that was on the forefront of his mind, not for now anyway. No, what made the Inquisitor upset now was the gash on his head, running from just above the corner of his brow to the top of his cheek. The gash was deep and red, likely not to heal properly unless addressed soon with magic and salve. Trevelyan had neither of those. The mages were either injured themselves or tending to patients in much more dire need of healing.

Summary
The epiphany hit him like a stray bullet. No, literally, Eddie would know.
All the air got sucked from his lung, creating a vacuum that muffled and drowned out everything around and inside of him. His eyes fell on the only thing in bright, blinding focus, just as it had the day he was actually shot. The only thing in 4K edge cutting ultra high definition in a world running on a pixelate, black and white RCA Playmate, was Buck.
I am gay , Eddie´s mind simply stated into the deafening silence in his ears and his lips fell slack.
I am gay and in love with my best friend , Eddie thought gayly- he gayed thoughtly. Gayed gayly. Eddie was having a stroke. Gayly.
„Hey Eddie, you okay?“
„Gay!“ Eddie yelped, turning his head so quick it gave a crack. „Yes, okay, me okay. I am-“

Terrified brown meets pleading blue. The look in his eye is answer enough. “Buck.”
“I want to.” Buck tugs gently at Eddie’s happy trail. “I— I want you.”
“Jesus.”
“Do you want me, Eddie?” Buck murmurs. He tips the angle of his head down, looking up at Eddie through flaxen lashes. “Do you wanna fuck me?”
Wordlessly, Eddie sways forward, stomach tense against Buck’s hand, lips grazing Buck’s. Buck’s never felt like this before, this— powerful. A few words out of his mouth got Eddie like this, got him this twisted up. He got hard from kissing him.
“Tell me to stop,” Eddie pleads, breath hot against Buck’s mouth. “Buck.”
“Can’t,” Buck exhales, fingers dipping just past Eddie’s waistband, holding him there. “Please, Eddie. Want you.”
OR: 25-year-old Probie Evan Buckley isn’t expecting to meet and fawn over seasoned firefighter Eddie Diaz at the Firefighter games. He also isn’t expecting to end up in bed with him.
