Summary
Even as he walked, carefully placing one foot in front of the other, Obi-Wan could feel his knees threatening to give out. An awful, bone-deep pain enveloped the area around his shoulderblades. Every movement was stiff and labored.
Five years ago, he’d have been able to sustain himself from the Force, reinforcing his limbs with the Light in a way that could keep him moving hours after he should’ve collapsed. It had kept him going through far worse—many missions and harrowing battles.
But that was no longer the case.
Now, he felt old.
Old and drained.
In the wake of Kadavo, Obi-Wan comes to the realization that he needs to take better care of himself.

Bruce had to be there.Sweat beaded on Clark’s forehead as he listened. There was so much—too much.
His ears first caught a rasping breath and a shaky exhale; the sounds were followed by the subtle creak of kevlar. Clark then realized that, if not for the other sounds, he wouldn't have recognized Batman at all. Because the man's pulse was slow, far too slow.
Clark’s breath hitched.
[i.e. Batman goes missing and Clark is forced to confront his own feelings on how much he's grown attached to the man behind the mask. To make matters worse, the rescue mission takes the League right back to Apokolips... and pain ensues]

Summary
