Summary
It was Anko who first described it to Iruka: a huge wolf, with silver fur that gleamed blue with the shroud of living lightning that surrounded it. She said she heard it howl the night before the Kyuubi attack.
Her father had called it the Raijū, told her to never go outside during a thunderstorm and to always sleep on her belly on dark nights.
She said that the trees weren’t struck by lightning, but scratched by the Raijū’s claws.

Summary
For the first time in the 18 months since they've been dating, Kakashi turns up at Iruka's apartment, bloodied and battered, fresh off a mission, and acting odd. As Iruka starts tending to his lover's wounds, Kakashi opens up in more ways than one.
He's so preoccupied with healing the smaller cuts that it takes a moment for him to register the shift in atmosphere, the way the surrounding air seems to crackle, and the light in the bathroom flickering before going out. Only a small sliver of light from the hallway shines into the bathroom now, casting shadows against one of the walls.
"What the fuck—"
"Iruka," Kakashi groans, his voice laced with a dark, unrecognisable tone.
Iruka suddenly feels something snake around his wrist, its grip tight, and when he looks up, he can't help but feel like the very breath has been stolen from his lungs.

Summary
There had once been a time where humans and the old gods had co-existed peacefully. That was until greed and envy drove the humans to committing an unforgivable act, spilling blood of a god in their quest for power, forever upsetting the harmonious balance and cursing the lands.
He stares into the void, into the darkness beyond, both eyes still open and yet he sees nothing. The flame inside the lantern flickers, wavering, and just as he catches sight of a hulking great shadow, visible for a moment with a flash of what must be lightning on the other side, it dies down, almost extinguished.
In that moment, as their only light almost fades away, Kakashi feels the air in the room shift, and as he looks up from Naruto’s panicked expression, he comes face to face with too many eyes and too many teeth.

Summary
As Iruka was cleaning, he suddenly found an old scroll with Kakashi's name on it. Curious, he looked at the contents and saw that it's a recipe. Assuming that this must be one of Kakashi's favorite dish, he decided to make it for him- only to get a reaction he wasn't expecting.
Kakashi just ate a shrimp. And was crying.
Iruka now started to doubt whether he should really be cooking or not.

Kakashi, injured and exhausted after a dangerous mission, just wants to get back home and sleep for a week. He’s barely managed to walk back to Konoha when his body decides to be a total douchebag and completely runs out of energy, forcing him to find the nearest safe place before he passes out on the road.
Naruto, up until that moment sleeping soundly in his bed, gets the socks scared off of him three times: when some weirdo knocks on his door in the middle of the night, when that weirdo turns out to be his sensei, and when Kakashi then pretty much collapses into his apartment.
It’s a very stressful night.

"How do you do it?" she said into his chest, her voice muffled in his rumpled robes. "How do you go on without your Master?"
Obi-Wan's breath hitched again. He didn't respond to her for several minutes, only holding her. They should probably get off the tarmac, but she would die from grief if she pulled away from him right now.
"You wait it out until you can finally bear it," he eventually replied. It wasn't the answer she wanted, but there probably wasn't any other. She tried to picture Obi-Wan waiting around and doing nothing. She tried to picture herself doing the same thing.
Ahsoka sobbed again.
Emotions did not hold sway over the ability of Jedi.

Summary
Iruka’s neighbor was walking by again, the ridiculously hot one from down the street, his little pug trotting at his heels along the sidewalk. Iruka peeked out from behind the living room curtains to watch, trying not to feel like a total creeper. He couldn’t help it - the man was gorgeous, tall and sculpted with a creamy, pale complexion, like a statue come to life. The fact that he frequently went for walks in a tight athletic shirt and jogging shorts certainly wasn’t helping, though it did help Iruka wake up in the mornings.
Might as well enjoy the view, he told himself, taking a sip of coffee.
Then he caught sight of Naruto sneaking up behind him with a water balloon and spat it out.
