Summary
On board the Hail Mary, the Xenonite wall between Grace and Rocky keeps both of them alive. But it's failing. In three days, the air that lets Grace breathe will kill Rocky. Summary
Waking up with a headache was nothing new to Robert, but he hasn’t grown up to be a fan of it yet. Stretching in his plastic chair and pressing his knuckles against the area between his eyebrows eases the pain, soothing it from a sharp one to a dull, more in the background one, giving Robert a chance to stand up and feel the blood flow try it best to keep him from swaying.
The bathroom lights blind Robert for a brief second when he turns them on, regretting his choice to do so when he is greeted by his reflection in the mirror.
If Robert has issues that go above what he can, or wants to, work through by himself, will they take him down or will someone finally snap him out of it?

Summary
“Mike?” Will calls gently, his voice always the softest when saying his name.
Mike hums in response, a mindless mumble where his cheek is pressed against Will’s chest, all sleepy and warm and safe. Mike never wants to leave his embrace. Now that he has this, he never wants to live without it. “Yeah?”
“What are you doing?”
It’s a bucket of water that washes over him the second those words leave Will’s mouth—cold, icy water—paralyzing Mike down to the bone.
When he looks up, Will is staring down at him like he’s confused now, like he really doesn’t understand Mike so well, after all. And Will never says anything maliciously, but those four words feel like four gunshots straight to Mike’s chest. He’s not able to pull away from Will any faster, before that rotten feeling can consume him completely.
“What?”
“It’s just… It’s not normal, the way we act, is it?”

Immediately, Max’s cheeks grow red, his hand coming up to rub the back of his neck sheepishly. “Yeah, about that, Bobby roped me into a round of spin the bottle and—”
“You can kiss whoever you want, Max.”
Max hesitates, less thrown off-guard by the bite in his words than Bradley expected, and searches his face for a moment. Then he takes a deep breath, as if bracing himself for something.
“Yeah, but I'd rather kiss you.”
