Bartholomew Kuma's plan was to send the Straw Hats where they could get stronger, only, instead of sending Usopp to the island of plants and Luffy to the island of a fellow Warlord; he made the quick decision to send the two to an Emperor of the Seas who could help them persevere.
However, Kuma didn't take into the fact that Shanks would be heading towards a war, a war that hopefully wouldn't even get a chance to begin.

The CEO forms a weird friendship with the first person he feels like he can get close to - only because he seems absolutely harmless to the man. The story portrays their changing relationship which goes from a possessive codependency to something entirely different. A lot of humor but also angst as the story progresses. Be prepared for actual plot.

Luffy, Emperor of the Sea, Future King of the Pirates and colossal mother hen when it came to his little brothers.

Dadan didn't need to see him to know he was there. Of all possible bullshit that could happen to her, time travel had Monkey D shenanigans stamped all over it. And considering her kid’s Pirate King now, it would be a fool’s bet to think he hadn’t got himself wrapped up in some new adventure or another and ended up bragging her to fucking Marinefort of all place. "I didn't do nuthing!" yelled back at her from the crowd of marines and pirates told her she was spot on, even if the brat himself probably did not know at this point what in Nika's name he managed to do in order to drag her back not only from the embrace of death but toss her back in time as well
But that mattered little now. The brat was alive and would stay alive. It's her other brat that she's worried about. It doesn’t more than a cursory glance to notice her surroundings. Because there, up on the scaffold, alive - still thankfully alive and he would stay like that if she had anything to say about it - Ace chortles in surprise and gasped a word he had not used since he was knee high.
