Summary
Against all odds, Shadow survived the ARK explosion. For the first time, he finds himself truly alone, living on the run and evading G.U.N. as he struggles to understand who he is beneath his pain and anger. That is, until he is unexpectedly reunited with Agent Stone, who is building a new life for himself following Robotnik's death.
Both desperate for answers, they agree to work together: Shadow will assist Stone in uncovering whether anything remains of Robotnik in exchange for shelter. However, as Shadow begins to have increasingly vivid and violent dreams, he begins to suspect that Earth is in for even more trouble.
Sonic Heroes (kind of) and Shadow the Hedgehog, but movie-verse and Shadow has a more explicit link with the Black Arms and their hive mind. Check the chapter notes for specific content warnings.
