Summary
Dove, the illegitimate daughter of Count Ambrosias Lalonde, had lived her life as a stable boy her entire life. Until her lineage is discovered and the count finds a new use for a mud blooded girl playing boy, and Dove isn’t given much choice in the matter.
The duke, Dirk Strider, rumored to be heinous, cold, and cruel, is offered a wife. He can’t turn down the woman, despite his lack of desire for a wife. It’s his duty. He doesn’t anticipate the kindness the woman with crimson eyes exudes, or the way she weasels her way into his heart.
She hopes her true identity doesn’t get exposed before she can save the ones she loves.
