When Keith wakes up in a sunlit record store and drops a stack of vinyl records right into Lance’s hands, it feels like the perfect Hollywood meet-cute. For the next week, every day is a different cinematic masterpiece-from high-octane action rescues to rain-soaked indie-romance confessions. Lance is charming, the timing is perfect, and the lighting is always golden.
But real life doesn’t have a script.
Slowly, Keith starts to notice the cracks in the film. The background characters are repeating their movements. The city roads loop endlessly. And underneath the cheesy rom-com dialogue, a faint, unsettling echo of shattering glass is trying to break through the music. Keith is trapped in a seven-day reel that he can't seem to escape, and he's starting to realise that this story might not have a Hollywood ending.

Summary
He spots something shiny that catches the light of the sun as it comes closer, and Lance has just enough time to think that there was no way he could fight in this condition, when he recognises him.

And then he faints.
Our story starts when Lance and Keith wake up after having just survived a terrible crash. As they seek to navigate the landscape, they find out that they have crash-landed on… Earth? Their pods out of commission and their communications bust, Lance and Keith slowly try to make their way to the Garrison, to warn them about the war. If they don’t kill each other first. They might just have to overcome their differences if they want to get back to their team. A story involving theft, late-night conversations and human smuggling, among other things.
