Ace, on the other hand, couldn't help but smile. Or rather, broaden that smile that had never gone away. At the first opportunity, he joined Sabo and continued to observe him, to check all the changes. His eyes traced all the edges of Sabo’s scar, questions crowding in his mind.
"So... Chief of Staff of the Revolutionary Army," he finally commented.
Sabo looked at him curiously. "Yes, Commander of the Whitebeard Pirate Second Fleet?"
Ace laughed: hardly anyone used that title and hearing Sabo saying it was weird. "Not exactly what we imagined back then, but it's not bad, isn't it?"
"What do you mean?"
"Well, I didn't think I'd find myself a captain other than myself. And you... You know, don't you?"
Sabo froze for a moment and stared at him with wide eyes. "No," he said coldly. "I do not know."- Language:
