“Really?” Clervie’s eyes glitter, “How about…Bambi?’
Peruere tilts her head to the side, “Like a baby deer?”
“Exactly!”
“I suppose…” Peruere’s fingertips graze against cold glass, “Hello, Bambi.”
The ensuing giggles that tumble out of Clervie’s mouth sound like bells.

The thought of Cocolia being permanently gone is a thought that brings both immeasurable relief and a gut curdling despair. Somehow, some way, the thought takes a weight off her chest, and yet, her heart doesn't feel like it beats like it used to, her lips ache for a missing puzzle piece that never had the chance to slot together, her hands ache to feel warm skin, and old wounds don't necessarily sting, they simply throb, ache like a finely healed scar in cold weather.

Damn it, he’d known the risk was too high, why was Buck always so stubborn?
His entire body was pulsing with fear-fuelled adrenaline as he considered all of the worst case scenarios. He was so focused on his own imaginings that he almost missed the nurse’s hurried reassurance.
“No, no, not a blood clot. Mr Buckley was brought in by paramedics after cutting himself.”
Bobby froze.

“Happy,” he said, turning the paper over, then turning it back, squinting at it. “What the hell is this?”
Happy barely glanced up from his phone. “How should I know? I just drive you around, I don’t try to understand your designs. You’re the one who left it in the back of the car yesterday.”
Tony turned the paper towards Happy, tapping a finger against the scribbles in the margin. “I didn’t write that. I thought it, but I didn’t write it. What sorcery is this?”
“Oh shit, sorry,” Happy said, expression resigned. “I’m guessing the kid went through them when I drove him to school this morning. He has no regard for personal boundaries.”
“The kid.”
“Um— My girlfriend, she has a—“
“Your stepson did these calculations?”
“That’s not entirely—“

It was supposed to be a fake raid just like the others. Some shots fired never actually with the intent of hitting each other. Some "fighting" and then a quick get away for Merlin.
And it almost was, until something happened that had Merlin breaking plan and Arthur accidentally actually shooting him in the arm.
