Summary
As the Party prepares for one final battle, Mike Wheeler finds himself fighting a war of his own. Because surviving the end of the world might be easier than facing the truth he's spent years trying not to see.
With time running out, impossible choices to make, and the boy he would do anything to protect standing at the center of it all, Mike will discover that some battles can't be won with strength alone.
Mike Wheeler has always known how to fight for the people he loves. He's just never had to ask himself why one person has always mattered a little more than everyone else.
Vecna made one fatal mistake.
He reached for Will Byers's mind...
...and underestimated Mike Wheeler's heart. As Hawkins faces its final battle, Mike Wheeler may have to confront something even more terrifying than Vecna:
the truth about his own heart.A post-Season 4 Byler story about devotion, faith, impossible choices, and a love powerful enough to change the ending.
This is a story about monsters, heroism, sacrifice, and the end of the world.
But mostly, it's a story about love.
Because love?
Love makes a hero.

Trees passed. The road moved under the car. Droplets streamed down the windows like dew drops on the jasmine bushes outside his building.
Race shucked his fingers through his curls. How had it gotten so dark? The night got away from them, these two boys, and he was already being driven home. It was nearly curfew.

Summary
He’s mostly expecting silence, as he enters, maybe the faint sound of music from one of the rooms, but as soon as he opens the door, he’s met with loud voices laughing, and the back of a blonde boy around his age trying to jump on another one, and by how the attacker was trying to reach the other’s hands, he could’ve guessed what was happening.
“I said that’s mine, give it back, you fucker!” “You’ll steal another from Cowboy, c’mon!”
“What the hell? What's all that got to do with me— oh, hi!”
Spot turns around towards a corridor by his side, where a third, maybe older, guy is looking at him with a curious smile. “Can I help ya?”
Before he has the time to say anything, he feels a rush of air next to him and fast “SeeYaTomorrow!” followed by the door shutting loudly.
“Cazzo merda,” He hears from behind him, and then, louder “Ladro!”
And when he turns around, he finds himself frozen before the brightest blue eyes he’s ever seen.
Or: Spot deals with the changes that come with moving cities and leaving his friends behind, and conveniently meets the love of his life.
