Summary
The Summer of 2008; a boy is found by the riverside, nearly drowned with severe injuries, not knowing his past, where he came from, or even is his name.
After being adopted, Qifrey tries to adjust to a normal life, but he's always the "other", the odd one out, to everyone. Everyone, that is, except the boy who just won't leave him alone. Olruggio. He keeps trying to be Qifrey's friend, and no matter how much he refuses, Olruggio is persistent.
Maybe its a good thing

Summary
Qifrey is free of The Curse™, but it leaves him with low vision. He adapts with a little help and some nifty new contraptions from his smart and awesome apprentices. He also finally gets to have good things, like way too much wine and the best friend he's longed after for ages.
Or: I write out my ideal post-canon for my beloved family. I am un-dooming them from the narrative because I'm too impatient for Shirahama to do so herself in 10 years. Characterization/plot leans sweeter and less tragic. I like my imaginative whimsy and queer joy!
Anime-onlys read at your own risk.

Summary
in the skies, turbulence isn’t just outside the plane.
captain ruan mei is composed, brilliant, and frustratingly unreadable—earning admiration from everyone but one: herta, the clever and sharp-tongued flight attendant who thinks ruan mei is the coldest woman to ever wear a uniform.every flight, herta rolls her eyes when ruan mei speaks in her usual calm, clipped tone, especially when she makes oddly specific requests. but behind herta’s annoyance is a reluctant fascination... and behind ruan mei’s icy exterior, something much softer starts to stir.
what begins as awkward layovers and stiff interactions at 35,000 feet slowly shifts—until one of them starts looking forward to turbulence.

Summary
You weren't a technician, you weren't a security guard, you weren't a daycare assistant. You're just an employee. Staff. The ‘jack-of-all-trades’ employee with mediocre at best skills and specialty in none, tasked with doing miscellaneous jobs that robots couldn't do and human staff couldn't care to. The job is unpredictable, but it pays good and it's relatively easy.
Except for the part where all the animatronics are more sentient than you thought, and you're roped into a mystery surrounding the Daycare Attendants, who are bit too curious about you for your liking.
You don't think this was in your employee contact.
