Summary
On the Grand Line, Portgas D. Ace rescues a boy that is falling from the sky and meets five-year-old Guren Ichinose. In modern day Japan, Sakae Ichinose makes a last ditch effort to protect his son from the Hiragi family as he uses spellcraft to send his son away.
Not knowing how to get Guren home, Ace and Marco agree to raise Guren themselves until the day that they can send Guren home. Ace soon comes to the realization that him and Guren aren't much different as he starts to learn more about himself. Guren is raised away from the horrors of the Hiragi family and raised as a pirate by Ace and Marco as he vows to get stronger.
Ten years after his disappearance, Kureto Hiragi stumbles across a spell that sends him and a group of students from First Shibuya High School back in time to the world of pirates and a corrupt World Government where he meets a young pirate named Guren.
