This scent, his scent, has always been comforting to Shouto. Like a lungful of bravery shot straight to his veins, as he always feels ridden of everything that makes up the ugly thoughts creeping at the back of his head, leaving Shouto barren and carefree.
There were times when the scent got more intense, almost spiky, prickling at Shouto’s skin as if it was trying to get underneath it, pushing and pushing until the Omega let him in willingly. But that’s only in Shouto’s head surely; years of suppressed urges crashing onto him the second he starts working under one of the most desired Alpha in their city.
