No one told her the worst part about acknowledgement is having to act on it. Normally, Gideon is never a stranger to proactiveness. She planned her escape from the Ninth like, a million times. In both scenarios, though, the problem is still the same; her one obstacle is Harrowhark Nonagesimus. Again.
Or is she Harrow’s obstacle this time? Who knows? They haven’t said shit to each other about it. It’s unclear.
Pyrrha told her to just kiss and make up. Gideon chose to ignore her, like she usually does.
After everything is over and things have died down, Gideon and Harrow have only one thing left to do, the one subject they've always had trouble tackling: each other, and what that even means.

The first thing you should know is that I’m not writing this letter myself. I’m telling it to Palamedes and he’s writing it down. He says that’s called dictating. The first time he said that word, Pyrrha overheard and said, ‘Dick Tate? I hardly know him!’ and then Palamedes said ‘stop interrupting, and we don’t know anyone named Tate.’ Palamedes says I’m getting off topic again. Anyway, Palamedes is writing for me because I can’t. I don’t understand why that’s so important, but Palamedes says not disclosing that information is a serious breach of academic integrity. I don’t know what that means, but apparently you will, and you’ll think it’s important.
