her world shifts on its axis when she meets jackson avery - of the boston averys - on board the Titanic, as he heads back to the east coast. their kindred love of music draws them together, but a pull stronger than the north atlantic current keeps them there.
everyone knows how the story ends. after all, there is no such thing as an unsinkable ship.
