Summary
Captain Kirk had taken 8.32 hours to deduce the identity of his captors, track their sale to this organized crime leader, formulate a plan to infiltrate the auction and execute it. Quite excellent work. The only tasks available to Spock in this time, due to his capture, were to observe as much as he could about this place and to resist the sense-heightening and aphrodisiac effects of the cinnamon they dosed him with.
In this, Spock had failed miserably, and he was persistently the most sexually aroused he had ever been in his life.

There were all imaginable sorts of food on display; bite-sized pastries, bits of colorful fruit, nibbles of a cheese-like substance that tasted like almonds, candies, flat crackers with all sorts of toppings on them and drinks both alcoholic and non.
There was not a utensil, plate or napkin to be seen.

In which Spock and Kirk attend a dinner where they need to eat with their fingers. Kirk takes it all in stride, Spock maybe not so much. Thankfully his loving partner helps him out a bit.

Summary
Acquiescing to human affections was by far the worst of Kirk’s ideas Spock had said yes to and there was one principal reason. On Earth, among humans, hand holding was among the mildest romantic gestures. So mild, school children engaging in it might earn adoring cooing from their parents. This was not true on Vulcan. On Vulcan hand holding was the sort of behavior only engaged in behind closed doors.
