All folktales passed between selkies marked humans out to be liars and deceivers, people who could weave words into something convincing and sweet enough that the selkie wouldn't know it was a trap until their pelt was already taken. And then once the deed was done, they'd forever be trapped in a life away from the ocean, forced to obey their husband-master's every whim as their bride.
Which was part of Missa's justification for even being where he was now- perched behind a rock a little ways from the shore, and keeping a single human in his sights while doing his best to stay hidden.
By far the stupidest thing he'd ever done, had ever continued to do, but he found he couldn't quite help himself.

Summary

Summary
A new vigilante crashes basically on the doorstep after taking down a rouge villain on their own while she's home alone. No, her heart didn't twist at how young they looked, or that they had a similar aura of her long passed friend.
After patching up the little vigilante, Kristin opens up her home to them, which they slowly accept, curling into a hole in her heart that had been empty for 16 years.
One problem:Kristin is the head villainess of the Syndicate, the most powerful villain organization. And Her Husband and sons are very protective of their mother.

Summary
Missa, a knight tasked with an impossible mission, cannot seem to complete his quest to save his life. Literally. But he stumbles into a nice man, who seems to take care of Missa without even asking for him to. The man even offers to go along with Missa to help him on his quest! That's great for him! Maybe he'll get to see Chayanne before he grows up!
OR
A fae (philza), falls in love with a wet cat knight (missa), and they accidently end up married under fae law. Whoops. But Philza doesn't want to force Missa to come to Fairyland to spend the rest of his life there. He wants Missa to choose. So Phil decides to court him the human way. But he's not going to let any other humanoids try and claim HIS husband.
