A bug anthropologist in the Akademiya is taking a sick day off, which left their Scribe to take charge of the fieldwork in their stead. Unfortunately for him, he had to track scarabs through Sumeru's desert. Where the sun beat down on locals and the dangers increased further west, it didn't take conviction to see he couldn't do it alone. So, to further his luck, he had to call an old acquaintance to help him on his journey.
