Ningguang doesn't even look up from her pipe as she fiddles with it in her hand when she speaks. "Only a true treasure catches the eye of Captain Beidou." Finally her red eyes meet Beidou's for a glance. "Seems I've struck gold with this one."
There's something sly on Ningguang's face; something that, in their years of complicated deals, compensations, and snide remarks, Beidou can tell she wants something.
"Tryin' to say you were hoping I would notice? Don't tell me the Tianquan got all dressed up for someone like me."
"What if that's exactly what I was hoping for, Captain?"
