Ochako did it all for her.
For Himiko Toga.
She knew they were still fighting outside. Izuku had gone off to go fight Shigaraki, and Ochako was left at the hands of Himiko Toga. And that fight, the fight that couldn’t have been more than maybe ten minutes, felt like hours. Emotions pouring out as fast as the blood poured out of the gravity hero’s body.
She couldn’t get that face out of her head. That smile. Those eyes. Everything about her. It was stuck there, imprinted in the front of her brain. Every time she closed her eyes, she was there. That’s why she just stared. Hoping the images would just leave. But they didn’t. And when they kept popping up in her vision, she didn’t bother to try and blink them away. Instead she just watched it like a movie that she already knew the end to, but hoped deep down, that the characters would change their choices or do something different. But that’s now how movies work. That’s not how life works.

Cassandra is forced to go back to Corona and get help from her old friends, challenging her to deal with her feelings for the princess and focus on deeper things interfering with the mission more than just surface level threats.
