Summary
Hell is the last place Adam should be. He only sees one solution: Going to the very same Hotel he tried to destroy not a day ago. As if Adam's unexpected arrival at the Hotel isn't enough, tensions are growing. Something is up with Alastor, the reality of Husk's situation is setting in, and Angel Dust can't spend another night in Valentino's arms.
None of Heaven and Hell's political bullshit matters to Adam. Not the overlords getting picked off one by one, not the ulterior motives of his new companions, and not the emotions he'd spent hundreds of years suppressing that were all coming back in a fucked-up hurricane of confusion. Totally not.
All he cares about is going home. Can't be too hard, right? After all, he's Adam. Dickmaster. First fucking man. He can handle anything. Can't he?

Summary
Moving into Charlie’s hotel after Extermination Day was not exactly what Lucifer had planned for, but he thought it would be terribly bad manners to back out now.
Helping during the clean up was a given, of course. And he damn sure hadn’t been willing to let Adam hurt her when he thought it was a bright idea to target the Princess of Hell. But Lucifer had never considered much of what the aftermath would look like, when things settled down again.
(Or, Lucifer is living with his daughter again for the first time in years. Somehow, it does not fix all of his problems.)

Lucifer laughed, slid his hands down his face, and then finally met Adam’s eyes with a jagged slant of a smile. He held out a hand wreathed in golden flame. “Shake on it,” he said, tauntingly.
(Adam makes a deal to get a moment's reprieve from his overall awful situation in Hell. Lucifer is riding a hatred high and agrees. Adam turns out to have miscalculated his own trauma and Lucifer gets to deal with Emotions. Also there’s plot now. Redemption things, slow burn romance! Two idiots who don’t like each other and can’t communicate! Political Heaven nonsense. Fun times.)
