“I eat raw garlic sometimes!” Mina smiled as she crushed another villain’s windpipe with her thighs. “I like the burn. It makes my quirk super goopy too!”
“Mama?” Bakugou squeaked.
“If listening to us while sober is so painful you should probably unsober yourself.” Sero chuckled. A flying villain flew overhead and Sero distantly heard Midoriya yell a frantic “Heads up guys!” from two blocks away. Sero let out a burst of tape and captured the villain, adding her to the growing pile of unconscious bodies under his foot.
“That is so fucking edgy. Are you guys like, okay?” Kamimari was providing emergency power to the hospital they were defending while also kicking another villain in the face. One of Kouda’s animals dragged the villain by the shirt collar over to the police.
“GARLIC TASTES GOOD!” Mina and Bakugou yelled at the same time. Bakugou threw another villain with an explosion powered right hook into the same brick wall, adding to his own pile of unconscious villains.
Kaminari rolled his eyes. “Jesus. Forget I asked.”

When Eraserhead glares at him like he’s murdered someone (which he has, technically, but what is someone, really), Izuku sniffs righteously and says, “Stop glaring at me!”
Eraserhead takes a deep breath.
“Breathing, yes, like that,” Izuku says eagerly. “Want to see me do it too?”
“No,” says Eraserhead.

A waft of spice hit Ochako’s nostrils and she reeled back in shock. She has faced down countless villains since coming to UA. She has been in battle and in hand to hand combat possibly a hundred times. She faced Overhaul’s minions with support from her peers, but otherwise without outside help. But no villain with a terrifying quirk has ever struck her with more fear than quirkless Melissa shoveling curry made of peppers so deadly it killed an unprepared Pro Hero famous for his spice tolerance on live TV. Deku was still guzzling water directly from the sink, Tokoyami’s quirk was crying in pain as he casually shoveled more into his mouth, and Melissa was handling the spice like a pro.
Being biologically quirkless came more with an extra pinkie joint in the toes and a stunning lack of vestiges mutations. It came with smaller things, like extra teeth that did virtually nothing, exploding organs, and weird exposed nerves that weren't designed to feel pain.

Everyone knows that the way to check if someone is Quirkless is to see if they have two joints in their pinky toe. It's the sign that the person has no Quirk- that they haven't reached the next stage in evolution that most people have.
However, most people don't realize that there are *other* differences between the Quirked and the Quirkless, other parts that haven't evolved.Or: 5 times 1-A thinks Midoriya is dying and/or sick, and the 1 time the truth is (partially) spilled.
