you begin to wonder if niki was just making you feel him up because you had been curiously staring at his tattoo or because he wanted you to— in fact, he hasn’t let go of your hand.
“d’you like it?” there’s a drawl to his voice that wasn’t there before.
“it’s…nice.” you mutter stupidly.
“really? what’s it say?” niki says, like it’s some sort of test, and your words fail you because you can’t seem to make sense of anything when you feel the warmth of his skin against yours.
you see the next few moments in slow motion. niki leans in slowly, giving you the time to refuse and shove him away if you wanted to, but you don’t. instead, your body gravitates towards his.
