Kaveh narrows his eyes. “No. But you can bring me with you next time you go to the gym. Once maintenance is done, maybe.”
Alhaitham pauses mid‑stretch, raising an eyebrow. “Oh? You want to come with me?”
He walks over and sits beside Kaveh on the couch, the cushions dipping under his weight. “I didn’t think you’d be interested in watching me work out.” Alhaitham nudges him lightly with his elbow. “Or… are you just looking for an excuse to ogle me?”

Alhaitham works out in front of Kaveh for the first time ever since the gym’s closed for maintenance, Kaveh watching him complete countless exercises in their home before discovering one of his new unfortunate turn ons. Once they get to the gym after the completion of general maintenance and apparently also a change room renovation, Kaveh finds it difficult to just stand still and watch the scribe work out, thus triggering a whole other series of events.
