Racing against time, Leon S. Kennedy has been tasked with not only finding a cure to his disease, but also investigating a suspicious man who may be related to it.
Albert Wesker has lived a gruesome life. 19 years ago he had fallen, karma catching up left to die in Africa with his greatest creation. 19 years ago, he crawled out of that volcano and found a way to reach out to the only person he knew. 14 years ago, he eventually settled with that person.
Now, the two are rushing to find a cure and take down a newly arising threat in order to make it out alive.

Zeno had gone still like a deer caught in a pair of headlights. Dried blood crusted the corners of his mouth. Crimson stains spread in messy swathes around the curve of his throat. His mouth crooked open as if to speak yet still no sound came. Leon took a step closer. His hand rested firmly on Requiem where it was nestled in the holster tucked against his ribcage. Two rounds remained after he dealt the death blow to Gideon. He estimated it wouldn't take more than one shot to put Zeno out of his misery. His thumb stroked the wing pattern of the grip thoughtfully. The other man flinched away from the agent. He squeezed his eyes shut as if he were expecting the blast of the gun to be his last taste of the living world. Shoulders hunched, Zeno tucked himself further under his lean-to of rubble as if he were afraid.
Of Leon of all people.

Chris Redfield returns from Europe in late September; earlier than expected, and he is no less angry and hurt from the bitter, death-defying events that occurred in the Spencer Mansion back in July. S.T.A.R.S. was dispersed subsequently after and Claire, whom he stays with to remain incognito, sees how her brother is so… untethered. “Mr. Kennedy, I had a feeling you'd make an appearance. Sorry, but I don't have time to spare.” Zeno’s words cut through the intense air spread between them after Grace’s collapse to the ground. The explosion of debris that rained down from the ceiling startled Leon as he reflexively flinched back to protect his head from any wayward shards of wood and metal. The whole room quaked with the force of something very big landing on the floor between him and Zeno.
As Leon's eyes adjusted, his brain began to process the painfully familiar details of the towering silhouette before him. His throat went tight as his stomach dropped out with a mix of dread and shock.
“Have fun.” The gritty rasp of Zeno's words were a mockery as he carried Grace's unconscious body away through the secondary set of doors in the conference room. Leon barely registered their exit as his gaze fixed on the blue-grey hue of leathery skin on an agonizingly familiar face.
“Ty…?” The name felt choked off as his throat grew tight. Leon's mouth felt terribly dry all of a sudden as he watched the behemoth man that once stalked these blood splattered halls stomp menacingly towards him.
