Summary
Hermione was very content with her life at that moment in time. She had quite a cute little flat on the outskirts of London, still quite near her mum and dad’s house. She shared the flat with one of her best friends, Ginny. Living on the outskirts of London meant that Hermione could ride the tube to and from work every day. Sometimes that travelling part was her favourite part of the day. Suppose that could make her seem quite sad but tube life was interesting. She weirdly found the tube relaxing. She would just sit, calmly, with her morning coffee and a book. Usually a classic like a Jane Austen or a Charlotte Bronte, or even an Emily Bronte novel. That, before work, was sometimes the highlight of her day. At the end of her workday, she always got to avoid the rush hour as the book shop usually closed quite late, so that people who were working during the day could come shop or just collect a pre-order if they wanted to.

Hermione couldn't hate him for believing what his parents fed him ever since he saw the light of day, and she truly believed that he also didn't feel that way towards her. When it came to proving his loathing, he always hesitated. Multiple times, he faltered to the point that he didn't have to hurt her. He didn't go against the Death Eaters, but he didn't help them much either, and that was enough for her to know that there was good in him.
That's why, for the first time since the beginning of the trials, she personally wanted to speak in favour of him.
