A cold front descended upon Izuku, the air settling onto his already clammy skin. His knees were pulled up to his chin as he sat on a wooden bench, looking out into the sea. It was night time, and the moonlight beautifully reflected off the water, giving it a soft glow. The tide was coming in, and he vaguely thought that it would sweep him away if he stood too close to it.
He hoped it would.

Their newest cell mate was shifting. Clearly, they were beginning to shake off the effects of the drugs, which was shocking. With such a powerful medication, they should have been out for almost two more days. Instead, they were slowly waking from only a few hours under its influence.
The changes were minute at first. The breathing slowly quickened and changed from measured even breathing to slightly uneven and more shallow breaths. Soon it began to twitch and grumble, it’s face contorting in odd ways that had Aiizwa on edge in an instant.
It wasn’t until bright green eyes snapped open and the human shifted in an aborted lunge towards the nearest exit.

Summary
Inko didn’t particularly like dealing with the police… She wasn’t the type of person to press charges on someone who committed a wrong to her. Unfortunately for that man though, Izuku was the only exception she had to this rule. So pressing charges for harassment and assault using a quirk wasn’t difficult in her mind.
Izuku was struck with...what was essentially a fear quirk. The man’s quirk functioned by heightening all senses and worries in a person’s mind. It was hitting Izuku rather hard, especially since he was already an anxious person. However, the doctor told Inko it wasn’t anything fatal or permanent, and would only last a couple of days.
Inko spent the next days off taking care of Izuku. The way her son bawled, plagued by his own worries broke her heart. There was nothing that she could do except hold him and let him know it’d be okay.

Izuku meets a passer-by on Monday in the morning. By nighttime, he thinks he's changed. By Tuesday morning, the people around him think they're talking to Midoriya Izuku. By Wednesday, they don't know who he is.
