Mike gave a look of horror, the pieces of the puzzle slowly fitting in. Wait.. did she make the Mother's Day card for..
"Hey, Mila, what's this?" Will greeted warmly, seeing her thrust the card forward, over to him even more. "Did you make something?"
"It's.. it's for you!"
Mike felt like he wanted the ground to swallow him underneath, and hopefully when he already is – it had a matching deathbed coffin that held him close with soundproof covers.
Will blinked, surprised for a second and then read the words closely.
In bold yet uneven letters, it read: Happy Mother's Day, Mr. Byers!
