Summary
Adrien just really wants to be friends with Marinette but...it’s hard to be friends with Marinette Dupain-Cheng and not have both parties become a little tongue tied around each other. So Chat Noir attempts to make friends with Marinette with the aid of his mask instead.
Eventually Chat Noir becomes essentially adopted by Marinette after problems at his home, and they will both be hiding things as they start on the new adventure of being thrown suddenly into the experience of being roommates.-

Summary
Marinette notices that, sometimes, Adrien acts a little out of the ordinary--like the time he stood in a cardboard box for no reason, or when he actually hissed at Nino. It's only when she starts to notice the similarities between Adrien and a certain feline that she begins to get suspicious.
Basically, Adrien acts like a cat when he probably shouldn't.

When a freak accident sends Marinette into critical condition, the only thing she can think about is Chat Noir. She wasn't going to make it and someone had to tell him. Otherwise, he'd never know what had happened to her--why his lady had never returned. And, as it just so happens, Adrien is there with her near the end, so she decides that he can take the message to Chat just as well as anyone.

I saw a need and I filled it. The Lord and The Lady will be a series of one-shots, not connected to each other at all. The only reason I’m putting them together is as an easy way to find everything I write with non-cis ML characters. If you’re wondering, the title of the series is based off the pun The Lord is The Lady.
I'm officially closing this series. I'm still very much open to writing more non-cis ML, but I've no ideas at the moment and am not actively working on this, so I'm marking it complete.
