Summary

The world still moves apace, however: Aizen schemes, Urahara counter-schemes, the first seeds of a thousand-year war are planted all over again. But a single altered fact can have repercussions of staggering magnitude, and without Ichigo Kurosaki, the world looks at once familiar and utterly different.
A planned multi-part series, which will adhere to canon in some ways and deviate sharply from it in others. The first fics are entirely gen, but shipping will happen... eventually. Now-ish.
