There is a slight smile on his face which she traces with her fingertip, his delicate wrinkles disappearing under her touch. His pupils dilate, darkness eating the colour almost completely. And it hits her with the same burning magnitude that in this moment he chooses something again.
He chooses her.
And this is all she needs.
