“That means he won’t remember us.”, Wooyoung said, his voice sounding hollow.
“Any of us?”, Jongho looked at Hongjoong questioningly. Even Hongjoong?
“You know he would hate this idea.” Wooyoung looked at Seonghwa’s form, “He will hate this even more once he finds out – should he ever find out.”
Hongjoong sighed. He knew that. But did it really matter? As long as Seonghwa survived he would make new memories with him.
“Hongjoong, are you 100% certain?”, Yunho again. “There is no reassurance that Seonghwa will ever remember you or any of us. And if he, along the lines, does remember, there is no guarantee he won’t resent you for this.”
“I would rather live a life where he resents me, than one where he doesn’t exist at all,” Hongjoong looked up at Yunho, “I am certain.”

“I didn’t call you to hear about how bad of an idea this is,” Wooyoung grumbles, words muffled behind his hands. “I already know it’s a fucking bad idea. The worst, even.”
“Then why the hell are you doing it?” comes the question Wooyoung has been asking himself since San left his apartment that morning, this time projected from his phone’s speaker instead of knocking around pinball-style within the privacy of his skull.
“Because, Hongjoong, I’m whipped beyond all worldly measurements, if you happened to miss the memo,” he snaps. “Because Choi San could ask me to clean a dirty car with my current toothbrush and all I’d ask is which soap I should use. I’d even hit the interior, give it a good carpet scrub.”
San asks Wooyoung to be his boyfriend for the night. Wooyoung is as elated as he is irrevocably doomed.

Summary
In a post apocalyptic world, on a land which was once known as South Korea, every year twenty four young people are chosen to fight to survive in a televised show. When Jung Wooyoung sacrifices himself for his younger sister, he doesn't have much hope of winning. In fact, he doesn't really want to win, not knowing his own best friend has been reaped as well.
It's only when he is given a little glimmer of hope that he actually fight back Wooyoung decides to defy the Capitol and these games, but what he doesn't imagine happening is to start a revolution, a revolution that might repeat itself like seventy four years ago.
A revolution that would end this shit show called The Hunger Games.
