Title updated, formerly known as Darcy's Reward.
Actors Fitzwilliam Darcy and Elizabeth Bennet met and fell in love while making an award-winning miniseries, but the relationship was short-lived. Fifteen years later, they again find themselves working together. It's an opportunity to mend a broken friendship, as well as broken hearts.
Premise based on the real life circumstances of Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle (P&P 95), who dated for a year while filming 'Pride & Prejudice', then worked together again in 2010 on 'The King's Speech'. It's a D & E story, though, not RPF. (all right, maybe it's a *little bit* RPF).

Summary
It began, as so many dreadful things do, at a party.
Elizabeth Bennet’s first impression of Fitzwilliam Darcy is… unfavourable. Her second and third impressions are hardly any better. He’s aloof and haughty and casually insulting, yet she keeps catching glimpses of something deeper in his character. Which is the only possible explanation for why she can't seem to get him out of her head.

Summary
In Torvill and Dean's autobiography, they recount a prank that Chris played on Jayne back in his policeman days, in which he locked her in his handcuffs and pretended he'd lost the key. I've just... filled in the gaps. We were all thinking it. Some of the dialogue is taken directly from the autobiography.
