Summary
There were two things Yuuji Itadori was absolutely certain of: one, he was unmistakably, irrevocably in love with Megumi Fushiguro; and two, he was destined to die. And soon. His heart couldn’t hold up in either case, either from the strain of his love or its own poor construction due to a birth defect that made it a bit too big for his body. It was like the more he lived, the faster he died.
If he’d ever known two truths that were more at odds with each other, he couldn’t recall them.
But he didn’t care, because he’d rather have lived one good life than a hundred boring ones that didn’t involve the love that ached in his chest more than his heart ever dared to.
In the end, it was all worth it.
