Summary
Homelander found himself fighting against it, despite the sweet sensation of serenity. The rate at which he was lulled into a mild trance was almost alarming. He was losing control, eyelids growing heavier by the minute the more he took it all in. For the first time in years, he felt truly relaxed. His mind was entirely blank, Hughie’s soft voice neutralising the venomous thoughts that constantly poisoned his mind. He never would have thought something so simple would give him comfort.
tldr: Homelander discovers Hughie's ASMR channel and becomes obsessed.

“Oh shit, sorry,” Hughie blurts out, embarrassed. He can feel his cheeks burning as he scrambles to pick up everything. There’s no way he’s ever going to live this down. He won’t be able to hide any of it from either Annie or Robin, and every single time he sees this guy in the halls he’s going to remember how mortifying this is. “I didn’t mean to, I was just rushing because of the bell, and now I’m gonna be late and you’re probably gonna be late, too.”
The guy crouches down and helps him without a word. He’s not as jittery, which helps with picking it all up, and soon enough he’s placing what he grabbed on top of the pile Hughie put together.
Hughie tries to give him a smile. It feels more like a grimace. “Thanks, man. Sorry about um, running into you.”
“No worries,” the guy mutters, and is that a British accent?
There’s no way Hughie’s face isn’t bright fucking red.
