Bitty meets Jack on a Saturday morning at approximately the asscrack of dawn about a month after he officially adopts Therese. He knows who he is, of course, was heartbroken when the Falconers were knocked out of the playoffs in the second round.
Any other day, he would be shocked and excited. Today, however, he’s too tired to really care who walks into the shop. All he cares about is the fact that Therese is still fussing and it’s seven in the morning and he still hasn’t had any coffee. “I’ll be right with you, just give me a minute to get this little princess calm.”
And apparently Jack Zimmermann is some sort of Disney prince, because he responds with, “Do you want any help? You look exhausted and I’m pretty good with kids?”

There will be parallels and divergences from both Heartstopper and Sweater Weather in this story.
Do I know a ton about rugby? Nope! Do I live in England? I sure don't. Will I get a lot of things just wrong enough to be annoying? Definitely! Will there be science facts at the end of each chapter? I can’t help it. Enjoy the ride.

It was a little uncomfortable, but Simon would deal with it for a moment if only to see those gorgeous sloping cheekbones and that crooked smile. He reached his fingers to trace his favourite parts of Wille’s face, smiling wider when his boy shivered in response. “Simme, when was the last time you went to Venezuela?”
“I don’t actually know,” he admitted with a frown. “Maybe five years? I think I was twenty-four or something. Maybe twenty-five.”
Wille hummed gently, pushing his fingers through the small hairs at the nape of Simon’s neck. He offered a small smile, something sort of shy that confused Simon a little, and then he suggested in a tiny voice, “We could go?”
