    Realizing that mingling was doing more harm than good for his self-esteem, Alexander decided that his night would be spent inside a booth, people watching as he sipped on his beverage. However, the night would quickly take an interesting turn for the young man once unknown patron sits in his booth. At first he believed that the patron may have mistaken him for one of their friends or possibly flings due to the low light in the pub- but to his surprise, they were there for him. Alexander was unsure if he should stay and see where this interaction would lead or just go home and save himself the possible embarrassment from what he might say during the conversation. His panicked thoughts were silenced when the individual gave him a genuine smile and offered to buy him another drink if he had time to talk. With a sharp inhale and long exhale- Alexander awkwardly smiles back; trying his best to make sure his braces are not showing too much and says, “S- Sure! I’d like that a lot.”
